ENABLED BY DESIGN-ATHON, SYDNEY

Date: September 19-20, 2019

Address: Telstra CIC Centre – Level 2, 400 George Street, Sydney

Cost: AUD1000, Students: Free

Enabled by Design-athon is a dynamic 2 day entrepreneurial education accelerator designed to create an inclusion mindset.

A Deloitte study found that 72% of full-time employees said that they would consider leaving an organisation for one that is more inclusive.

This event gets people to understand how they and their company can be more inclusive.

We bring together teams to solve problems of inclusion in products, service and the workplace.

Why Attend?

Advancing Inclusivity in the Workplace

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is the leading provider of next generation technology and ideas to make our community, workplace and world more inclusive.

Companies are committed to providing an inclusive workplace culture but what does that mean and how can we help to improve?

This event will give you the practical tools to foster inclusiveness, promote diversity and embrace the unique skills and qualities of all employees.

You will get the opportunity to work as a team and find solutions to everyday obstacles for people living with disabilities and develop an idea that can be developed into a working product or service.

“I thought I was quite inclusive before EbD, but I learned that when you think with inclusion, it benefits everyone. The energy I had in those three days I hadn’t had in the past few years.”
DEREK CAIRNS, TELSTRA

“Amazing team, awesome people and it was a really great experience!”
MELINDA STRIER, ING AUSTRALIA

“When you design and build for people with disability, it actually ends up being advantageous to everybody. I now have more empathy and compassion toward others.”
SUE MCDONNELL, TELSTRA
