Tell us a bit about you and your background experience.
I currently work in the emerging technology team at the Commonwealth Bank and I’m a senior global shaper with a background in social license, immunology and law.
What are your core areas of expertise, particularly when it comes to mentoring for Remarkable?
My expertise when it comes to mentoring is understanding product market fit by testing hypotheses and articulating value proposition for all audiences to understand.
What inspired you to become a mentor for Remarkable?
The reason why I wanted to become a mentor is because I’m continually flawed by the impact that accessibility check has on people’s lives and the community and I want to work with the people that have been the change that they want to see.
Are there any parts of the accelerator program that you particularly enjoy?
The most exciting thing about this program for me is the ecosystem – it’s people and businesses learning and developing together at a breakneck pace. The culmination of this for me is the demo day and I’m really excited to see all the growth showcased on that day.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in your work life that you would like to pass on to the startups?
The bit of advice that I’d like to pass on is that all big changes start with small changes and it’s really easy to
forget that when whenever you feel disenchanted or demotivated.
